Alex Wietrick and Caleb Morgan scored two goals apiece to power Traverse City Central to a 5-2 Big North Conference win over Gaylord.
Wietrick and Morgan staked the Trojans (8-9, 5-2) to a 2-0 first period lead. Max Schrank drew the assist on the Wietrick goal. Morgan's tally was unassisted.
Central went up 3-0 in the second period on Mark Jordan's first varsity goal. Lucas Little picked up the assist.
Spencer Bajko responded for Gaylord to slice the gap to 3-1.
Wietrick pushed the margin to 4-1, scoring off assists from Trevor Mattis and Adam Swy.
Gaylord's Brennan Borowiak tallied to make it 4-2, but Morgan finished it with an unassisted empty-netter with 47 seconds left.
Bill Vermetten turned aside 14 shots on goal for Central, which hosts West Wednesday at Howe Arena.
